released the results of their joint reflection on the issue of energy transition

. During the press conference held to introduce their joint
statement, Susanne Wasum-Rainer, German ambassador to France, reiterated her support for this initiative and called on decision-
makers to take action: “Bilateral research projects often prefigure large-scale actions at the European level and can improve the
competitiveness of the European industry. While this joint declaration sets priorities for our future cooperation, it also stresses the
need to grant additional funding to energy research and development in Germany and France. The French and German governments
should act now”
