ENCOURAGING THE SCIENTIFIC COMMUNITY
The Académie des Sciences carries out actions to support scientific research. It thus holds scientific colloquia
and sessions on various themes in order to promote exchanges at the highest level. Moreover, it honours the
best scientists by awarding them prizes for their work. Lastly, it publishes the review
Les Comptes Rendus de
l’Académie des Sciences
, a set of seven series, with the aim of contributing to the dissemination of knowledge
within the international community.
