Anne-Marie Lagrange D.R
Astrophysicist at the Laboratoire d'Instrumentation et de Recherche en Astrophysique at Paris Observatory, research associate at the Institut de Planétologie et d'Astrophysique de Grenoble, research director at the CNRS, adjunct professor at the Université Paris Sciences et Lettres and member of the Académie des Sciences. A former student at the Ecole Polytechnique, Anne-Marie Lagrange is considered one of the world's leading astrophysicists in the field of extrasolar planetary systems, their formation and evolution. Among her outstanding results, we owe her the prediction and subsequent discovery by direct imaging of a planet in the residual disk of a young star, beta Pictoris.
