At a time when the dissemination of knowledge is undermined by an unbalanced economic model, the Académie des sciences and the CNRS have signed a co-publishing agreement to develop a diamond open-access scientific publishing model, free of charge for authors and readers alike. This initiative, which materializes through the Comptes rendus de l'Académie des sciences, aims to offer an ethical and equitable alternative to the growing dependence of the international research world on commercial publishers.
