Episode #1: Anne Canteaut: an architect of modern cryptography
A new video series: "The new faces of the Academy", spotlighting recently elected members of the Academy of Sciences.
To inaugurate this series, we are pleased to introduce Anne Canteaut 🎥
👉 Research director in the COSMIQ project-team at the Inria center in Paris, Anne Canteaut is an expert in cryptography. Her work, at the interface between cryptography, algorithmics and discrete mathematics, focuses as much on designing new data protection algorithms as on analyzing the security of existing systems.
🏆 Winner of the Irène Joliot-Curie Woman Scientist of the Year Award (2023) and recently distinguished "Fellow" of the International Association for Cryptologic Research (2024), she is also committed to diversity in research.
