Advice on the revised version of the multi-annual energy program

The text of the multi-annual energy program (PPE), which sets out the objectives of national energy policy up to 2035, has just been made public. In particular, this document sets itself the ambition of transforming our energy system to reduce its dependence on fossil carbon resources, while guaranteeing security of supply.

This is a revised version, following an initial version submitted to public consultation organized at the end of 2024, to which the Académie had wished to contribute. After a rigorous analysis of the new version of this text, the Académie des Sciences offers its opinion, attached, along with recommendations.
