Presentation: Created in 2024 and co-sponsored by the French Academy of sciences and the Académie des sciences morales et politiques, this committee aims to examine the nature and mechanisms of relations between political decision-makers, scientific-experts, citizens and the media. Through a variety of hearings, the committee aims to shed rigorous and constructive light on the conditions for effective articulation between scientific expertise and political decision-making, while respecting democratic principles.
