The Académie des Sciences carries out actions to support scientific research. It thus holds scientific colloquia and
sessions on various themes in order to promote high-level exchanges. Moreover, it honours the best scientists
by awarding them prizes for their work. Lastly, it publishes the review

with the aim of contributing to the diffusion of knowledge among the international community.
